Is Qubit Forge free?

Yes. Individual accounts are free to join, with no card required. Institutional licences are quoted separately, with a free three-month pilot for qualifying institutions.

Do I need to know linear algebra?

A basic grounding in linear algebra helps with the challenges. The learning modules are designed to start from zero, with no linear algebra assumed going in.

What is the difference between the challenges and the learning modules?

The challenges are scored circuits you write and run on a statevector simulator, open now. The learning modules teach the material behind them in short steps, one line at a time, and are coming next with a waitlist you can join today.

Can I use it on my phone?

The challenges and the circuit sandbox run in the browser, and a laptop is the better fit for writing circuits. The learning modules are being built for the phone, one line at a time.

Is Qubit Forge open now?

Qubit Forge is in open beta. The scored challenges, the circuit sandbox with Qiskit and Python, and profiles and rankings are all open now, and anyone can create a free account.

Who is Qubit Forge for?

Qubit Forge is for anyone learning quantum computing, from writing a first circuit to working through advanced algorithm challenges. It is built for self-taught learners, students, and institutions running a quantum computing course.
